MANAGE USERS MENU

The Manage Users Menu has the following functions. Each function will be covered in this section:

  • List Contractors;
  • Manage Companies;
  • Notice Management;
  • Invite Principal Contractor; and,
  • Sent Invitations.

Manage Users - List Contractors

This function lists the contractors on the system, including a summary of what service they provide and to which site(s)/region/division and company they are approved to provide the service to. There are options to search for a particular contractor, contractor company or contractor type.

In the Manage Users menu:

1. Select  List Contractors.

2. Click the drop-down arrows to select the contractor type, site, region, company and risk level.

3. Click Search.

4. The information searched for is shown.

The List Contractors function is where contractors can be suspended/deactivated, assigned to a site, sent a new password or have their details edited.

To suspend/deactivate a contractor go to the Manage Users menu:

1. Select  List Contractors.

2. Type in the contractor's name or click the drop-down arrows to select the contractor type, site, region, company and risk level.

3. Click Search.

4. The information searched for is shown. 

5. Click the Suspend User Account icon to suspend/deactivate a contractor. Their history will remain on the system when their account is suspended.

To edit a contractor details such as email address, city etc, go to the Manage Users menu:

1. Select  List Contractors.

2. Type in the contractor's name or click the drop-down arrows to select the contractor type, site, region, company and risk level.

3. Click Search.

4. The information searched for is shown. 

5. Click the Edit icon to bring up their current details.

6. Type in the new details.

7. Click Update Profile.

To reset a contractor's password, go to the Manage Users menu:

1. Select  List Contractors.

2. Type in the contractor's name or click the drop-down arrows to select the contractor type, site, region, company and risk level.

3. Click Search.

4. The information searched for is shown. 

5. Click the padlock icon. Once this icon is clicked, a new password is automatically emailed to the contractor.

To assign a site to a contractor, go to the Manage Users menu:

1. Select  List Contractors.

2. Type in the contractor's name or click the drop-down arrows to select the contractor type, site, region, company and risk level.

3. Click Search.

4. The information searched for is shown. 

5. Click the Assign a site (+) icon. This takes you to the screen where a site can be assigned.

6. Click the Assign a site

7. Click the drop-down arrows to select the Contractor Type and the Site.

8. Click Save changes.
